I love how she started off the video with saying
everyone is a reader and writer. It is so important for every teacher to have a
positive attitude towards their students and truly believing that each student
can succeed no matter what their background is. She demonstrates the gradual
release of responsibility well. I
strongly agree with her on her ultimate goal, which is to get each student
independent and to give them a love for reading. Once the students have that
they will be able to continue to be successful even when you are not present.
